He wasn't feeling the luck as well as neither were we. So he sat back and watched my girlfriend and I play for a little bit and then he tried again. I told him, it was called gambling for a reason and Winstar didn't become the LARGEST casino in the world because try allowed people to win. He blew threw $10.00 after we walked around and he found a game that looked appealing to him. Within the first 20 minutes, he learned what gambling was all about. Literally the place was empty for a casino! My son signed up for he Winstar rewards and started his casino experience. We went into the casino and noticed maybe about 30-40 people inside. When I didn't see very many cars in the garage, I thought maybe the casino was closed. When I saw the parking lot, it was empty and I figured the cars were all parked in the garage.
We left at 10am and got up there at 3:30pm. On a typical day, the drive would only be an hour and a half, but this was no typical day. Even though the temperatures were in the low 20's and it took 5 1/2hrs to drive 90 miles one way, battling ice build up and avoiding trying to steer not getting caught up in the forming ice ruts on the road caused by tires and wet conditions, I did the long treacherous drive so he could enjoy his birthday. I recently went back to Winstar world casino because my son turned the legal age to be allowed in and he has been wanting to experience it for almost 6months.
