I'm sure there are differences but i wasn't sensitive enough to pick them up. FWIW when i was switching back and forth i would have to check the headstock every few minutes to remind myself which one i was playing. I always plan on just replacing the pickups on any Asian guitar but they sounded great, and very similar to the Elitist. I don't know if they have changed anything but i really liked the neck thickness and the pickups sounded pretty great. I was ready to order a Peerless Songbird for the higher quality but thought i should try out the MIC version and was really impressed. I had just seen Rick Nielsen in the store moments before so i might have been out of it! and certainly i couldn't feel or hear a $900 difference. I couldn't actually tell that much difference between the MIC and the Elitist. I just played some Elistist and some MIC Casinos.
